WELCOME
Greetings!!! Here you may find information mostly related to my professional endevours, which certainly is a big part of my passionate life. I do my best to educate myself —and those around— of living a life respecting others and the environment.
Currently, I work as associate professor at the Department of Environmental Sciences of the Universidad Nacional (UNA), Costa Rica. I´m a researcher at the project Local strategies on climate change, member of the National Advisory Committee of the Global Compact of Majors on Climate and Energy, co-founder of the Costa Rican network of local governments on climate change. I'm also the Director and Editor of the Tropical Journal of Environmental Sciences (Revista de Ciencias Ambientales), and board member of the Mesoamerican Society of Ecological Economics. And for more fun, I enjoy playing soccer, hiking, mountain biking, traveling, and reading!
